UDS has also, at various times, maintained affiliations or partnerships with a limited number of private institutions and nursing/health training colleges. Examples include:

- Premier Nurses Training College
- International Centre for Management Studies
- New Life College
These affiliations are fewer in number compared to teacher-training colleges and may change over time.
